Job Description/Duties
Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Assistant (GA) - Dean's Office (School of Business). The Graduate Assistant for the Dean's Office acts as a project manager for the School of Business and ensures their actions are grounded in Neumann's Catholic traditions and Franciscan values. The GA will report to the Dean of the School of Business to manage specific projects developed by the Dean conducive with the University's RISES values. In addition, this position supports the School of Business faculty as directed by the Dean.
This position will report directly to the Dean of the School of Business, will begin in early-August 2025 and end mid/late-May 2026. Participation in the August GA training prior to the start of the fall semester is required.
This is a full-time (3/3) graduate assistantship; not to exceed 20 hours per week, and may include evening, weekend, and late-night responsibilities, hours may be adjusted as university necessity mandates.
Qualifications: Enrolled master's degree candidate in an approved graduate program at Neumann University is required; Bachelor's degree required; professional manner and appearance; enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Neumann University; registered for at least 6 graduate credits during any semester in which you are awarded a GA position; maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above in graduate courses; one year student activities experience, or project management experience is preferred; excellent communication, organizational, and team development skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, and to work quickly and accurately; high degree of confidentiality and professionalism; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other Office Suite Applications preferred. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.
