Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager you will ensure that fabrication projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Daily Operations:

• Set Clear Goals: Define daily objectives for saw operators, finishers, and helpers, and communicate these goals effectively.
• Ensure Quality: Address any quality issues promptly and ensure all tasks meet our high standards.
• Maintain Organization: Keep the shop clean and organized, ensuring materials are stored properly and walkways are clear.
• Monitor Equipment: Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Meet Standards: Ensure compliance with customer and company QA/QC requirements.

Team Leadership:

• Guide and Train: Provide training and support to new and existing employees to uphold high craftsmanship standards.
• Manage Attendance: Enforce company policies on attendance and timekeeping.
• Evaluate and Develop: Assess team performance, offer additional training or resources, and manage discipline as needed.
• Foster Growth: Monitor performance and support professional development.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce Safety: Implement and enforce safety policies in line with OSHA regulations and company standards.
• Report Incidents: Promptly report safety incidents to senior management.
• Promote Safety Culture: Create a culture of safety, provide safety training, and manage job safety actively.

Communication and Improvement:

• Seek Feedback: Gather employee feedback on improvement ideas and communicate expectations clearly.
• Review and Revise: Collaborate with the Project Manager to review project plans and suggest improvements.
• Solve Problems: Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and handle unexpected conditions efficiently.
• Coordinate: Ensure smooth communication and coordination with crew members, project managers, and superintendents.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma required; college degree a plus.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• 5 years of tile installation experience preferred.
• Background in manufacturing, construction, or millwork is a plus.
• 2 years of team supervision or management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
• Skilled in large layout design, mud floor/walls, and countertop installation.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and high-quality standards in stonework.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Self-starter with integrity, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with diverse teams.

• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• High energy and proactive with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
