We are seeking a detail orientated individual to join our office staff. This person will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process of a small health care company. Ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time will be top priority.
Job Description
- Properly initiate, maintain, and terminate personnel files
- Accurate and timely processing of weekly payrolls and time keeping
- Provide employee support regarding payroll, benefits, and general inquires
- Accurate and timely governmental, external, and internal payroll reporting such as, employment
verifications, garnishments, and/or friend of the court requests
- Proper maintenance of employee benefit packages, including enrollment/termination tracking
and invoice audits
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations

Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2-5 years prior payroll experience
- Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Office & Excel, Paychex knowledge is helpful
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
- aPHR and/or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience with benefits administration

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
