Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced compassionate Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with trauma, OCD, developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and yet be able to work alone and be independent self starter that can handle change and help be a self starter. Attention to details a plus!
Responsibilities
- Conduct research data collection to support ongoing assessments and treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals under supervision.
- Assist in medication administration as per prescribed guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavioral changes.
- Collaborate with social work professionals to address the holistic needs of patients.
- Engage with individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
- Utilize sufficient terminology effectively in communication and documentation processes.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in behavioral health, social work, or a related field is preferred. Need experience as a neurofeedback technician
- Knowledge of research data collection methodologies can beneficial.
- Familiarity with a high paced environment
- Strong understanding of neurofeedback terminology is essential for effective communication.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Such as Autism and ADHD
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support in a compassionate manner.
