Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, managing medical records, and supporting administrative tasks in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments (new and established)
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Assist with medical record management and ensure confidentiality - EPIC experience a plus
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
- Professional courteous team player who is responsible and has great work ethic
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of medical administrative support systems such as Epic or similar software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
