Job Summary
The Clinic Support Aide plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic by providing support across multiple positions and functions. This position is designed to offer flexibility, cross-coverage, and managing workload of the clinic. The Clinic Support Aide will assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and clinical staff with patient care tasks, facility organization, and light utility duties. The ideal candidate will have previous medical assisting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support
- Assist CNAs with patient room preparation, flipping rooms between patients, and other direct care tasks as needed.
- Cross-train with CNAs and be able to step into their role to provide additional coverage as required.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient care needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Potentially cross-train with front desk and auditing roles in the future.
Facility Maintenance
- Support facility cleanliness by cleaning and organizing the clinic.
- Sanitize patient rooms, medical equipment, and other clinical areas following established protocols.
- Launder linens and ensure they are properly folded, stocked, and ready for use.
- Restock medical and office supplies throughout the clinic.
Operational Flexibility
- Act as a flexible team member to assist with areas of need in the clinic, including front desk support, administrative tasks, and patient scheduling as required.
- Provide relief and additional coverage for CNAs and other clinic staff during peak times or staff shortages.
Compliance and Safety
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA license or previous medical assisting experience strongly preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Medical terminology knowledge required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing clinic needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending as required by the job.

- Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
