Overview
The Staff Accountant will handle a variety of general accounting and financial reporting activities including invoicing, accounts receivable management, cash management, accounts payable processing, employee expense reimbursement processing and analysis, account reconciliation, and other general accounting activities. They will have contact with all departments of the company as well as with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
Respond to all inquiries promptly with professionalism and accuracy.
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and commitment to quality.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Work cross-functionally with coworkers to achieve company objectives.
- Perform accurate and timely billings of customer orders every day in ERP system.
- Receive and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
- Communicate past due balances and other information to customers professionally and clearly.
- Utilize Excel for data entry projects and ad hoc reporting when needed.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations when requested.
- Assist in the registration and processing of sales tax filings.
- Assist with daily and monthly billing of various revenue.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close.
