Summary of General Duties:
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-payments.
- Schedule radiology testing, physical therapy, etc. per doctor’s instructions.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
- Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
- Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.
- Ensure that stock levels are adequate.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
- Prepare and send medical records according to company policy.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or higher education.
- 1 year of experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist/clerk role.
- 1 year of experience working with an EMR/EHR; particularly EPIC.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT codes.
