Document Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Document Support Specialist to join our legal drafting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal terminology, excellent drafting skills, and an eye for detail.
Position Duties
You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and editing a variety of legal documents. This role requires precision, accuracy, and a commitment to ensuring all documents adhere to legal standards and company policies. A few of the daily duties include:
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal materials.
- Ensure documents comply with legal standards, are error free, and lacking inconsistencies.
- Conduct legal research as needed to support document preparation.
- Collaborate with the legal team and our clients to gather necessary information and clarify document requirements.
- Answer phones and direct phone traffic as needed
- Assist clients with questions
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for our internal team members
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and document formatting
- Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Multi-task and problem-solving capabilities
- Expert attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases (WeathCounsel/Lawmatics)
- Strong organizational, motivational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of trust and contract drafting is preferred but not required
