Project Lead Assembly Operations
Nevada HR Team is a leading executive search firm specializing in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management, and mix design development. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Lead to join our team in Reno. In this role, you will play a key role in the design and execution of diverse infrastructure projects, including streetscapes, roadways, and site development. You will leverage your technical skills and knowledge of Civil 3D to develop construction documents and coordinate design efforts, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure project success and contribute to the enhancement of our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Management & Coordination: Serves as project manager for assigned projects, overseeing planning, design, construction, and implementation. Develops project budgets, schedules, and conducts site visits. Coordinates assigned services and operations with other divisions and outside agencies. Plans, coordinates, and reviews project work performed by private consultants. Reviews and designs project plans and specifications involving hydrology, traffic, soils reports, grading plans, sewer plans, water/wastewater facility plans, streets plans, and other related documents. Performs engineering calculations for stormwater, water, sewer, pavement, etc. Reviews drawings and details of construction and implementation plans. Provides technical advice, guidance, and direction to an engineering team.
• Operational & Administrative: Participates in the development of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. Monitors activities of the engineering work unit and identifies opportunities for improvement. Prepares project budget proposals and monitors expenditures. Provides staff assistance to management, prepares reports, and maintains records. Represents Eastern Sierra Engineering in meetings with stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project support, with a focus on roadway, site development, and/or utility design. Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Understanding of engineering principles related to hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management; ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret design drawings; Experience working on streetscape and roadway projects.
