The Procurement Program Manager (Sr Principal Continuous Improvement Specialist) will help support the Director of Supply Chain on all projects pertaining to strategy and new initiatives that involves critical thinking and technical challenging areas.

Annual salary range for this position is: $117,426.40 to $182,010.00.
Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and projects at the enterprise and directorate levels.
- Consolidate portfolio management/procurement forecast input from internal customers and analyze needs/trends to support strategic sourcing and analyze to ensure staffing levels are adequate to support work volume.
- Lead collaborative team discussions on open improvement and corrective actions and presents status to Supply Chain management and other key stakeholders.
- Effectively uses communication skills in executing responsibilities.
- Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on financial, business, or process-related topics.
- Provide mechanisms to capture baseline data and data after improvements are made.
- Perform critical thinking and problem solving - evaluating alternatives and identifies solutions using systematic, multi-step approaches. Develops innovative solutions that improve project performance and uses cost-benefit analyses in decision-making.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management.
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, and at least 12 years of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- In-depth knowledge of business management principles involved in strategic planning, risk-based planning, leadership, and managing resources.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, effective decision-making skills, and risk management.
- Able to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
- Able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to evaluate alternative methods of solving problems, problem resolution, and to ensure that requirements are completed efficiently, on time, and are cost-effective.
- Able to develop, plan, and implement short- and long- range goals.
- Able to prioritize and schedule multiple activities of the assigned organization.
- Able to communicate with all types of people in a tactful, professional, influencing, motivating, and effective manner while screening and maintaining confidentiality.
- Able to understand and remember complex data, policies, procedures, laws, regulations, terminology, schedules, personnel, and other details.
- Candidates can be remote or located in the North Las Vegas area.
- Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday or 5/8s Monday through Friday (subject to change).
- Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
