What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT position at Premium Production?
Premium Production is a manufacturing company building a team to help change the world.
We are looking for a full-time, in-person Vice President of Continuous Improvement to join our team in Hildale, Utah. You will be responsible for managing team members that are well-trained and effective in their responsibilities, and adhering to regulations from all governing federal and state bodies.
What you will do:
- Oversee the Departments of Validity, Continuous Improvement, and Corrections
- Oversee training and standard operating procedures for each new piece of equipment installed
- Ensure that all products are verified and maintained according to standards, policies, and procedures
- Supervise and approve trainings created for all members within the company
- Drive the adoption of lean and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring that continuous improvement initiatives result in measurable and sustainable enhancements to operational processes, productivity, and overall organizational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and prioritize process improvement opportunities, utilizing data-driven insights and metrics to drive informed decision-making
- Create production manufacturer detail reports for each department weekly
- Verify the facility is OSHA compliant and all necessary safety procedures are created and enforced
- Verify that all team members maintain compliance with 21 CFR Part 111 and any additional relevant regulatory requirements for storing and handling dietary supplement materials
What we prefer you to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong computer skills in Google Workspace applications and other approved Premium Production programs
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
What you must bring:
- 5 years of experience and knowledge of working with the FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies for food safety
- Experience managing processes and personnel
- Understanding of all current good manufacturing practices
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 111 cGMP regulations
- Ability to work in a regulated environment with an emphasis on quality and compliance
- Ability to enforce standard operating procedures
- Ability to create programs and processes
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to uphold standards, policies, quotas, and expectations without compromise
Pay: $60,000 to $80,000 per year Bonuses
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
