What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at NEVADA PAIN & SPINE SPECIALISTS?
ADVANCED PRACTITIONER – DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
DUTIES- NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST
· Render Medical services consistent with generally accepted practices of medicine and within the scope of practice of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
· Arrive consistently, timely and unimpaired to work as scheduled.
· Provide services promptly and with courtesy.
· Render services in a manner that assures continuity of care.
· On workdays, see any new patient in 30 minutes, and any return patient in 15 minutes.
· Be available and able to see minimum of 3 patients per hour of work.
· Embrace change.
· Attend company meetings as necessary.
· Maintain continuing education for purpose of self-education and to meet license maintenance requirements.
· Maintain license to practice in good standing.
· Keep complete and timely records of healthcare rendered to patients in accordance with the guidelines established by the Employer, and as required of governmental agencies or third-party payers. (All medical records shall be the property of the employer)
· Participate and comply with any internal peer reviews, utilization reviews, risk management programs, policies and procedures as may be established from time to time by the employer.
· Abide by the employer’s non-discrimination policy.
· Understand the employer has the sole authority to determine who will be accepted as patients of the company.
· Company shall determine fees or the procedure for determining fees to be charged.
· Agree to sign necessary documents that allow employer to bill for services rendered.
· Promptly code for billing the services rendered.
· Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
