Construction Surveillance Technician - Security Clearance Required

Shift :   Full Time , Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM(Occasionally until 4 : 30pm)

Responsibilities :

• Will monitor un-cleared workers during designated phases of construction.
• Preform x-raying and inspecting material, equipment and furnishings designated for use within Controlled Access Areas (CAA) of the construction site.
• Assist in the random selection of materials required for construction and installation in the CAA as well as areas contiguous to the CAA.
• Read and analyze designs / blueprints and recognize architect’s intended use.
• Learn principles of all construction disciplines including Civil, Architectural and Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Have a working knowledge of Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence.
• Have a working knowledge of technical security countermeasures, construction quality assurance and construction security surveillance.
• Have a knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.

Requirements :

• Maintain an active Secret security clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs.
• This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking flights of stairs, running, and demonstrate the ability to defend themselves or others.
