Alarm Monitoring / Access Control

*This position requires an active TS / SCI Security Clearance.*

Shift: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 0700-1500

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access into and from the facility, by ensuring personnel identification throughout the production, issuance, and verification of identification media.
• Proficient with the use of personal computers, software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and telephone equipment.
• Operate a variety of communications, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), personal and baggage screening equipment, and other security equipment to communicate with others and effectively manage visitor center and IDS monitoring operations.
• Complete and maintain all visitor logs, daily logs, incident reports, and databases as directed.
• Prepare the lobby area in support of Conferences held in the building.
• Escorting of all uncleared emergency responders and CNIC personnel entering the facility.
• Perform physical tasks for extended periods such as walking, standing, or bending and occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pushing items weighing up to 20 or 30 pounds.
• Conduct interior checks of all suites, corridors, telecommunication closets, conference rooms, and warehouse.
• Conduct exterior checks such as the fence line, motor pool, loading dock, and exterior doors of the building.
• Conduct the lowering and raising of the American flag to half-mast by the Presidential direction provided with the Flagpole Company notification.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be able to work scheduled shifts.
• Maintain an Active TS / SCI security clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Be proficient in MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs.
• This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking flights of stairs, running, and demonstrating the ability to defend themselves or others.
