What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONSTRUCTION SURVEILLANCE TECHNICIAN position at New Age Protection?
Shift : Full Time, Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM(Occasionally until 4 : 30pm)
Responsibilities of Construction Surveillance Technicians (CST) :
- Will monitor un-cleared workers during designated phases of construction.
- Preform x-raying and inspecting material, equipment and furnishings designated for use within Controlled Access Areas (CAA) of the construction site.
- Assist in the random selection of materials required for construction and installation in the CAA as well as areas contiguous to the CAA.
- Read and analyze designs / blueprints and recognize architect's intended use.
- Learn principles of all construction disciplines including Civil, Architectural and Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Have a working knowledge of Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence.
- Have a working knowledge of technical security countermeasures, construction quality assurance and construction security surveillance.
- Have a knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.
- Maintain an active Secret security clearance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient in MS; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs.
- This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking flights of stairs, running, and demonstrate the ability to defend themselves or others. Benefits :
