Position: Insurance / Flood / Loss Draft Specialist II
Location: Austin, TX
Salary: $22 - $24 / hourly
Position Summary:
This position will report to the Supervisor in Escrow Servicing and will directly support the requirements development and implementation of the Black Knight loan servicing system. This position requires the ability to research issues on mortgage loans.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for maintenance of loans with escrowed hazard insurance, active flood zone dwellings, and/or active loss draft claims;
Assists in retrieval of requested insurance, flood, and/or loss draft related documents;
Assists in clerical duties related to insurance, flood, and/or loss draft mail as requested;
Assist with data entry of insurance, flood, and/or loss draft information;
Assists in reviewing insurance, flood, and/or loss draft documents as requested;
Assist in maintaining and preparing insurance and/or flood report data and records;
Works reports centralized on insurance, flood, and loss drafts monitoring, on a daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis;
Works insurance and flood related tasks within MSP;
Works to handle flood and/or insurance coverage disputes;
Works to streamline insurance, flood monitoring, and loss draft processes;
Communicates with insurance, flood, and loss drafts vendors as needed;
Communicates as needed with originations and servicing regarding insurance and flood requirements, and loss draft guidelines and requirements;
Communicates with borrowers as necessary to resolve inquiries;
Assist in researching and resolving complaints;
Assists in vendor scorecard completion on a monthly or quarterly basis;
Handles additional reporting as directed by management;
Assists in other areas of Servicing as needed.

Qualifications
Desired Education/Experience:
MSP knowledge
2 years of mortgage servicing experience
Key Competencies:
Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry;
Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure;
Handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently, as well as part of a team;
Good business writing skills;
Analytical and organized;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS SharePoint and MS Project;
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including senior executives, managers, subject matter experts, and third-party business partners.
