The New Balance retail store applicant should have or provide:
- retail or customer service experience,
- enjoy working with and meeting new and diverse range of people
- believe in excellent customer service
- be able to share a passion for knowledge of product and its performance
- be available some weekdays to 8 or 9pm (during Holidays) and weekend availability is a must. Our hours are not typical ‘mall’ hours. We can generally work schedules to meet individual needs.
Sales associate responsibilities after training will include, among other things:
- providing a welcoming store with friendly greetings for our guests,
- ability to talk with our guests and help assess their wants and needs
- merchandise presentation and the ability to size and fit it properly
- proficiency of product knowledge in the wide variety of New Balance product
- setting the scene in the front and back rooms for productive and efficient use
- being a positive and interactive team member
We will train you:
- in professional fitting skills
- to a high level of product knowledge on New Balance products
- how to educate our customers on the features and benefits of our product
