JOB MISSION:

The Talent Acquisition Associate will work cross-functionally supporting Sr. Talent Acquisition team members with various phases of the recruitment process for retail, manufacturing, and distribution.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Schedule and execute recruitment strategy meetings to develop relationships with hiring managers and develop understanding of business and culture.
  • Use knowledge of the business and culture to identify potential talent.
  • Review resumes and screen applicants that closely match requirements for open roles.
  • Schedule video or on-site interviews by partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Specialist and Hiring Managers.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet recruitment targets and deadlines.
  • Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively

Candidate Experience:

  • Conduct preliminary phone screen to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and fit for specific roles.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, guiding them through the employment process.

Brand Ambassador:

  • Assist with various Talent Acquisition initiatives (Open Houses, Hiring Events, Vendor relations) that strengthen our employment brand and candidate journey.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 0-3 years of business experience.
  • Commitment to work out of two offices: Lawrence & Boston
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A passion for helping others find meaningful employment opportunities.

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
