EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: 1.Participation in a student teaching practicum as part of a college/university teacher training program2.Minimum three years industry experience in hospitality and tourism desired3.Familiarity with curriculum and instructional strategies as it relates to the career pathway of Hospitality and TourismMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1.Minimum of Bachelors Degree.2.Licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education 3.SEI Endorsement OR Licensed as an ESL Educator by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.4.A demonstrated belief that each and every student can achieve at high levels.5.A demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning, reflection, and continued personal and professional growth.6.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.7.Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills.8.Bilingual in Spanish or multilingual and bicultural strongly recommended.
