Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
New Beginning Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to work in-center, one-on-one with a client with Autism to administer behavior programs, educate family members, and effectively collect data on daily functional goals for each client. We specialize in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), skill delays, and behavioral challenges. Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of the individuals to help them function effectively in home, school, and community environments.

FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE
New Beginning Behavioral Health is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Therapists with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for someone that has a passion for working with children and will put the needs of the children first. During each session, therapists are responsible for keeping the child engaged, the setup of learning opportunities, teaching appropriate play and social skills, and providing reinforcement for desired behavior. You will also implement child-specific Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, analyze data, and track client progress. You will foster a culture that is caring, accountable, collaborative, and family focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy.
- Implement and collect data on behavioral skill acquisition, behavior reduction and functional living protocols.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized protocols.
- Assist Lead RBTs and BCBAs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments and preparing client materials as instructed Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with treatment team members.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have availability during the hours of 9:00am-4:30pm
- Must be willing to conduct sessions in a client's home.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and overall enjoy communicating.
- Want to work as a team with your peers.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, ability to pass background check and drug screening.
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred: Experience working with children ages 0-16 providing in a classroom or 1:1 setting; experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis; Educational, Speech
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
