New Beginning's Adult Residential Homes is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our amazing team of professionals in the Pasadena, CA area!
Direct Support Professional:
New Beginning's Adult Residential Homes provide direct care and support services to individuals who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities. No experience needed will train upon hire.
Shifts Available:
- Morning 6:30am-2:30pm
- Evening 2:30pm-10:30pm
Direct Support Professional Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive in Pasadena, CA
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work on days, evenings, weekends or holidays based on the needs of the individual facility
Direct Support Professional Work Responsibilities:
- Assist with feeding, dressing, bathing, grooming, transferring (sitting in the bed or chair), and transferring (sitting in the bed or chair) patients daily.
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Documenting all services provided and assisting patients with paying bills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
