New Behavioral Network is looking for a BCBA in the New Castle County area to work on site at an in-patient crisis unit! The Program is a six-bed unit that offers stabilization and diagnostic services for adolescents, ages 12-17, experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. These youth may need to be temporarily removed from their homes and/or communities to stabilize their mood and behaviors as well as improve interpersonal interactions with family and community members. Crisis unit services are optimally designed for a 14–21 day length of stay. During this time staff works with the youth and family to return the youth to his/her home as quickly as possible.
Key Role for BCBA:
· Conduct functional behavioral assessments.
· Oversee behavior plan development and implementation for both crisis and diagnostic units.
· Analyze and review data to ensure effective behavior plan execution and make adjustments as needed.
· Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in clinical meetings with the multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior plans.
- Ensure data collection and analysis for plan effectiveness.
- Adjust plans based on outcomes and input.
- Participate in family and clinical meetings.
- Implement crisis intervention techniques.
Qualifications/Eligibility:
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related role.
- Certification: BCBA certified.
- Other Skills:
- Ability to implement crisis intervention techniques.
- Must be flexible with working hours (at least 17 hours per week).
- Limited travel required.
- Experience with Rethink automated documentation is a plus.
