Time: Sunday mornings, 10:30am – 12:30pm

Description:
We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated Christian Youth Leader to join our Armenian Presbyterian Church ministry in Paramus, NJ. This position involves leading our Sunday School program of children from preschool (3 years old) through high school age in a meaningful Sunday morning worship and educational experience.
Responsibilities:
Sunday School Assembly (11:00am – 11:30am): Lead engaging sessions consisting of contemporary worship songs, reciting the Apostle’s Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. As well as guiding children in collecting offerings as an act of worship, followed by prayer and closing with singing the Lord’s Prayer. This assembly reflects the adults’ church service.
Class Time (11:30am – 12:15pm): Focus on teaching high school age students, following the Faith Weaver curriculum (as is taught in all the other classes). Each teacher can use their own individual teaching techniques to connect with their students at their age-appropriate levels. Students should be in a supportive and spiritually enriching learning atmosphere. The students should be encouraged to deepen their understanding of biblical teachings.
Qualifications:
Strong commitment to Christian faith.
Experience working with children and youth in a ministry or educational setting.
Ability to effectively communicate biblical principles and values to children and teenagers.
Organizational skills to manage Sunday School logistics, curriculum implementation and any additional activities/programs led by the S.S.
