DUTIES :
1. Provide counseling services to all clients assigned
2. Maintain client confidentiality
3. Maintain complete and adequate records for all assigned clients
4. Deliver lectures to entire (OP, RT, Int, IOP, ADIS) client population as needed
5. Attend all staff meetings as required by Modality Department Supervisor / Clinical Manager.
6. Maintain LAC or LCAC counseling status or other appropriate credentialing
7. Must be willing to work in different modalities and varying shifts, and may including weekends and evenings as needed
8. Perform other duties as may be requested by the Modality Supervisor / Clinical Manager.
9. Must be willing to provide professional services for all clinical clients that may be assigned, following all licensing requirements
10. Establish along with the Modality Department Supervisor / Clinical Manager, a supervision plan which will address best practices and professional development
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Must be LAC or LCAC counselor, or LMSW / LCSW credentialing
2. KAAP membership preferred
3. One to two years experience in the alcohol / drug-abuse counseling field preferred
4. Must have knowledge of and be able to demonstrate competency in the 12 Core Functioning Counseling skills
5. Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s License with satisfactory record
6. Valid First Aid / CPR training
7. Annual TB Test or verification of clear chest X-ray by MD
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : Must adhere to the BSRB Code of Ethics
