ABOUT NEW CITY KIDS

New City Kids is a place where children and teens come to experience love, life and transformation.  Our goal is to help children understand their God given value.  Not only do we expect children and teens to be leaders; we train for it.  All teens who come to New City Kids are given extensive training in leadership and other life skills.  All teens are invited to become involved in our various worship bands, professional visits, performing arts opportunities and small groups.  Our hope is to be able to walk the road of life with a child from age 6 to 18 and set them on a path of life transformation that will stay with them long after their last day at New City Kids.

THE AFTER SCHOOL CENTER (ASC)

During the regular school year, New City Kids operates an after school center that includes an art and music component as well as academic support.  Children are given the opportunity to choose classes based on their interests (keyboards, drums, bass, ESL, etc.)  For one hour, students attend their class; for a second hour, they complete homework with an assigned tutor.  Tutors are coached by New City Kids  adult staff, while teen performing arts teachers are taught by a professional musician once a week in both music and music teaching.
