Tenure-Track Professor in Social Psychology
New College of Florida is searching for a tenure-track Assistant or early Associate Professor (with a maximum of 3 years of credit toward tenure) in social psychology to begin Fall 2025. Social Psychology continues to be the most popular area of psychology among students at NCF. The scholar we hire should be able and willing to teach courses and tutorials within the disciplines of Psychology and Statistics, at introductory through advanced levels. We are open to quantitative and qualitative researchers and especially invite applicants who use mixed methods approaches to investigate the complexities of human experiences. Research focus is open, but could include areas such as social cognition, group dynamics, prosocial behavior, social identity, social influence, and interpersonal relationships. The teaching load is two courses per semester plus sponsoring individual and group tutorials. Faculty members also provide academic advising, supervise independent study projects, sponsor senior theses, and serve on baccalaureate committees.
