School Age Summer Camp Teacher

Job Summary
New Creation Learning Center is a faith based private learning center located in Fruitland, MD. At New Creation Learning Center we are seeking a passionate and dedicated school -Age Teacher to join our educational team to help children develop spiritually, academically and socially. The ideal candidate will have a relationship with Jesus and an understanding of childhood development. This candidate will also be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Duties

• Daily Devotionals
• Field Trips
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Utilize various teaching methods and instructional strategies to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in behavior management and classroom organization.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• First aid certification is a plus, ensuring the safety of all students during school activities.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
