Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team. The Program Coordinator will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for managing and supervising Program Managers, Site Supervisors, DSPs and overseeing program development, budgeting, and administrative tasks for our residential clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position includes providing direct client care as well as supervisory work.
Salary based on experience, plus hourly rate for hours worked after required hours for salary.
This position requires the availability to be on call and to possibly work unconventional hours per company need.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and coordination of program and its activities
- Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to Program Managers, Site Supervisors and DSP's.
- Work with Site Supervisors to prepare staff schedules
- Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions, including but not limited to residential clients funds.
- Review and ensure documentation is being completed per DODD standards to ensure compliance.
- Ensure effective communication with all individuals apart of our team.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Attend all scheduled ISP, staff and management meeting as scheduled.
- On-call services
- Provide training per company need to Program Managers, Site Supervisors and DSPs
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth program operations
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Skills:
- Proven experience in a relevant position
- Knowledge of program coordination and development procedures
- Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-Oriented and efficient
- Degree in Human Service-related field preferred, not relative with experience
- 1-year supervisory experience in the DD field preferred
- 2-years experience working with the DD population
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
