NDTI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer who is passionate about safeguarding systems and ensuring mission-critical cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities:
Manage RMF packages for enterprise and RDT&E information systems, ensuring accurate and timely submission within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Work alongside cybersecurity, network operations, and software development teams to align all efforts with mission objectives and provide well-documented testing results.
Conduct and analyze security assessments, including ACAS vulnerability scans, DISA STIG checklists, and Assessment Procedure (AP)evaluations. Upload validated results to eMASS and VRAM as required.
Prepare RMF documentation for cybersecurity efforts in line with Navy and DoD protocols, including DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, and NIST SPseries standards.
Utilize RMF support tools such as STIG Viewer, Vulnerator, eMASS, and VRAM to enhance system compliance and documentation accuracy.
Deliver high-quality support and coordination across departments, maintaining open communication channels and demonstrating exemplary organizational skills.
Evaluate technical and non-technical features of information systems for the Designated Approving Authority (DAA) to determine whether systems meet acceptable levels of residual risk, based on the implementation of approved technical, managerial, and procedural safeguards.
Lead or support A&A activities, including Pre-certification, Certification, and Accreditation processes, ensuring that all required assessment protocols are completed accurately and on schedule.

Associate Degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4011 Certificate or successful completion of military training course: CIN J-3B-0440 (IP BASIC) (or DOD Service equivalent)
A CompTIA Security (CE) certification is required.
Validated 1-3 years specialized entry level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information Systems Security Management)
As a member of Cybersecurity Workforce individual will need to maintain a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year.
OJT Evaluation consist of: NAVEDTRA 43462-1C, or NAVEDTRA 43462-2, or NAVEDTRA 43469 watch station 304 or If IP O1-3 or NAVEDTRA 43360-2 or If IP O4-5 or NAVEDTRA 43360-3 and must be completed in directed timelines.
Salary: the expected salary for this position is $36.00 to $45.00 hourly but is subject to change.
