Job Description:
Support the lifecycle of the procurement process to include Material Screening, Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR) coordination, Purchase Request (PR) creation, buying actions, and reporting discrepancies.
Determine the appropriate and compliant procurement method, which may include Government Purchase Card, Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), and/or Contracts.
Assist Customers with completing the necessary procurement documentation.
Enter data into Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for purchase requisitions and complete transactions.
Create procurement packages (PR Requests via SharePoint) and conduct market research for SAP, Purchase card requests for Corporate Operations hardware, & software materials and maintenance, telecommunications and support services.
Participate in teleconferences and training sessions.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a business, finance or related field or equivalent work experience or Associate's degree with 2 years' experience.
Analyze current market trends on sales or performance data, as well as to forecast future performance and make procurement recommendations accordingly.
Detail oriented, analytical, organized, and objective, with ability to translate raw data into usable information.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Excel and Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
Experience in analyzing/ defining client's system, and/or equipment's requirements, analyzing acquisition/ logistics documentation, defining support requirements, budget formulation or involvement in IT initiatives.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Salary: the expected pay range for this position is $66,560 to $93,600 but is subject to change.
