We are seeking an Environmental, Healtlh and Safety Director to lead our safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Lead accident investigations and implement corrective measures.

Manage the workers’ compensation program.

Train employees and subcontractors on safety protocols and best practices.

Maintain safety records and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.

Oversee and ensure compliance with government contracting safety requirements.

Develop site-specific safety plans and implement mitigation strategies.

What We’re Looking For :

Experience : 5-7 years in construction safety management, preferably in commercial drywall and / or government contracting.

Education & Certifications : Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience. CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 / 500 certification required.

Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Travel : Frequent travel to job sites (up to 50%), including outside the D / M / V area.

Additional Requirements : Must pass background check and drug test; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; fluency in Spanish.

Work Environment & Physical Demands :

Office and construction site environments.

Exposure to construction hazards; PPE required on-site.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate uneven terrain.
