Senior Project Engineer
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, scope, and timing, as well as monitor cost and progress.
- Lead engineering and technical aspects of construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, and procurement plans.
- Oversee and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project delays or budget overruns.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and construction industry standards.
- Manage project closeout, including final inspections and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in construction project engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, including budgets, schedules, and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety standards.
- Strong understanding of project management software (e.g., Procore, BlueBeam, Microsoft Project).
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation, change management, and construction-related legal requirements.
