JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Staffing Specialist position is a supervisory-level, autonomous role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, independence, ingenuity, collaboration, efficiency, integrity, coordination, and determination. The individual who fills this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position with little to no daily guidance, direction and supervision. This position will require extensive and continuous communication with company management and employees as well as vendors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers as well as many other entities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in a human resources role.
- Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook). ADP experience required.
- Must have HR experience in agriculture, trucking, or heavy equipment sector.
- Certificate/Licensure:
- Valid driver's license.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist employees with all day-to-day workplace questions and concerns.
- Directly manage the entire staffing process from start to finish (i.e. recruitment, hiring, onboarding, termination, etc.).
- Manage and maintain all HR related programs.
- Design, manage and oversee employee development, engagement, and retention programs.
- Continuously coordinate and communicate with company management.
- Staff the companies dedicated HR phone number.
- Occasionally assist with general company needs (i.e. database management and data input).
- Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employees.
- Must complete and submit any and all measurables and/or reports as required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Safe driving record.
- Other duties as assigned and relevant to position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- General knowledge of Human Resource principles, practices and processes including current Federal and State laws, statutes, regulations, policies.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Ability to use personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA exposure control program.
- Ability to work constructively with vendors and customers.
- General knowledge of office routines and functions is sufficient to refer visitors and telephone calls and to route correspondence.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications; skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data.
- Ability to exercise initiative, apply and adapt policies, principles and techniques to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Ability to develop short and long-term plans and programs and to evaluate work accomplishments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, other employees, and the general public.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of business and personnel information.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Ability to use accuracy in the identification and reporting of data.
- The employee filling this position will be expected to be readily available by phone and in person Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime and/or weekends.
