Job Summary:
The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the corporate network and internal server infrastructure. Key duties include installing and integrating new server hardware and applications, performing routine updates, ensuring optimal performance and security of the network, and managing third-party applications. The role also involves ensuring seamless network connectivity, administering user accounts, and troubleshooting end-user issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support, configuration, and maintenance of corporate networks and internal servers.
- Install, configure, and integrate new server hardware and applications.
- Continuously monitor for required updates and perform system upgrades as necessary.
- Administer third-party applications and ensure their integration with the network.
- Safeguard network security, monitor connectivity, and maintain network performance.
- Track and analyze network performance metrics, such as availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, and address potential weaknesses.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and password protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
- Define and implement network policies and procedures.
- Develop system requirements and propose solutions to improve server performance.
- Research and recommend strategies for efficient server system administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Network certification is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a network administrator.
- Practical experience in networking, routing, and switching.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to speak, understand, read, and write both languages fluently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software, as well as related methodologies.
- Experience configuring and setting up server hardware.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, remote implementation, and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of best practices for managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
