New Edge Construction is a fast-growing residential remodeling contractor specializing in full scale home renovations. We have been contracted to handle all the contracting needs for one of the largest real estate investment firms in the St. Louis area. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Construction Operations Manager to take charge of our daily operations, streamline project execution, and oversee the successful completion of multiple residential remodeling projects.
Position Overview:
The Construction Operations Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of residential remodeling projects. This individual will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, highly organized, and an effective problem solver who can manage the day to day operations of our growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with the Project Managers, ensuring all aspects of construction projects are coordinated and executed smoothly.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately and efficiently.
- Manage resources including labor, equipment, and materials, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time.
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules to ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Regularly update and report on project timelines and schedule changes to senior management.
- Attend regular meetings with project managers and senior management to communicate the progress and status of ongoing projects.
- Assist in resolving on-site challenges quickly to avoid delays and keep the project moving forward.
- Provide training and guidance to internal personnel to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, construction management or related field.
- 10 years’ experience in project management is required.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast costs, and ensure financial control of projects.
- Skilled in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
