Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager with a strong background in banking and accounting to oversee and optimize the financial performance and operations of our asset portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing asset value, ensuring financial efficiency, and developing strategic plans to support the company's growth objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the financial performance of the asset portfolio.
- Monitor market trends and adjust asset strategies accordingly to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including cash flow projections, budget forecasting, and ROI analysis for each asset.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on asset performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Banking & Accounting Integration:
- Collaborate with financial institutions to secure favorable financing terms and maintain banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate accounting records for all assets.
- Portfolio Management:
- Conduct regular performance reviews of the portfolio to identify underperforming assets and develop action plans for improvement.
- Oversee acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities to enhance portfolio value.
- Risk Management:
- Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with the asset portfolio.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates on asset performance and address inquiries from stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in asset management, banking, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse asset portfolio.
- Skills:
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, and CRM platforms).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
- Certifications:
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
