Rehabilitation Counselors play a vital role in our residential program, providing direct care instruction to our students and ensuring their growth and independence. They collaborate with specialists and coordinators to develop an individualized curriculum to enhance skills such as communication and social skills, and activities of daily living (i.e. cooking, showering, self-care). Rehabilitation Counselors are also trained in verbal and physical de-escalation of challenging behaviors (CALM training), allowing our students to effectively communicate their needs, improve their problem-solving skills, and maintain their well-being.

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience working with students with special needs
- H1B visa sponsorship eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or closely related field
- Willingness to help students who engage in challenging behaviors
- Must be able to communicate and provide verbal instruction clearly with our students
- A valid International Driver’s License is required with the ability to gain a Massachusetts license within 2 months of employment.
- CPR training completion through NECC within 6 months of employment
- Successful completion of NECC training - Physical and Verbal De-escalation training (CALM) and Medication Administration training (ability to become MAP Certified)
