Job Summary
The primary role of the Sales Support Specialist is to work with our sales team and customers to serve as a trusted partner for seafood provisions in the South Florida area. Through an engaged and collaborative style, the Sales Support Specialist will build meaningful relationships with inside and outside customers, facilitate the order process, and grow their knowledge of our proprietary software solutions.
This individual demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all departments. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, has knowledge of seafood, effective in a fast-paced environment, able to manage a large number of accounts, and passionate about customer service, understands data processing, and has above average MS Office skills.

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in seafood industry.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call existing and/or potential new accounts.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and inventory information.
- Monitors competition by gathering current information on pricing products, new products, new establishments and delivery schedules.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
- Utilizes ERP integrated systems to keep inventory up to date.
- Generates daily price schedule. Markets daily offerings though current channels including Constant Contact, Dining Edge, Birchstreet, Updating Website, Email, Fax, any and all other means of communication.
- Any and all ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Accurate order entry, handling customer inquiries, reporting of price changes, and various production information updates.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by continually growing Seafood knowledge, obtaining HACCP Certification, reviewing industry publications, forecasting trends, and establishing personal networks.
- Obtaining new and assisting in keeping current customers including restaurants, retail markets, yachting industry, assisted living centers, hotels, catering, and food trucks through proper customer service skills.
- Becoming Point of Contact for Vista Trac questions, entries, backup, receiving, data entry, and general knowledge.
