Job Overview

New England Motorcycle Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Merchandise Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our General Merchandise Department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visually appealing retail environment, and driving sales objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Retail Sales: Assist the General Merchandise Manager in achieving sales objectives by effectively utilizing the C.U.S.T.O.M. Selling Process, creating well-organized presentations, and maintaining showroom product availability.
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly, addressing their needs, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels, maintain updated customer mailing lists, and participate in periodic physical inventory counts.
• Store Appearance: Maintain a clean and efficient store environment by stocking shelves, displaying merchandise, and adhering to visual merchandising standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Able to work effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Prior experience in merchandising and retail sales or equivalent education preferred.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale and computerized inventory systems or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• Majority of work conducted indoors, with occasional outdoor events.
