*Job Summary*
New England Music Lessons is a regional music teaching service that provides in-home lessons to students age 4 all around Southern New England for over 6 years. We currently work with dozens of teachers that activly teach hundreds of students. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages and skill levels.
This is a very flexible position where you can choose your availability and take on as many students as you want. As most of the lessons are after-school/early evening, this is a great position for those with a morning shift. The candidate can continue to teach any students that they have while working with New England Music Lessons
We are seeking teachers with a background in music. A familiarity with all genres of music is also preferred along with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student. I am looking to cover the following areas and towns. Please let us know which of the following towns you would like to teach in. You don't need to cover all the towns down below. Being able to teach other instruments like violin, ukulele, bass, and drums in addition to piano/guitar is also great but not necessary.
Auburn, Charlton, Dudley, Grafton, Leicester, Millbury, Northbridge, Oxford, Shrewsbury, Southbridge, Sutton, Webster, Worcester
*Responsibilities*
- Instruct students on how to play the their instrument effectively
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's goals and abilities
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a music teacher or similar role
- Proficient in various music styles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and ages
-Owning a car and your ability to commute to lessons is necessary.
*Payment for lessons is $25 for 30 minutes, $35 for 45 minutes, and $50 for 60 minutes. Clients often sign up multiple children for lessons.
