The Human Resources Internship provides a tremendous opportunity for a degree seeking individual to learn and become familiar with human resources and NESL. Ideally, this program will help guide interns toward a career path that aligns with their interests and abilities.
Internship Structure
A mentor will be assigned to each intern and will remain with the intern for the duration of the internship. In addition, interns will interact with key positions across Human Resources and various members of Operations. These interactions and relationships are intentionally designed to help the intern develop their skillset and grow professionally.
Assignment Overview
The intern will be responsible for practicing their human resources knowledge and skills in a professional office setting. The intern will have an area of focus, and their duties will include supporting the HR team with various projects and tasks. In addition to an intern group project and their expected daily duties, the HR intern will play a key role in revitalizing our company's history by digitizing and cleaning up valuable employee records. The intern will preserve decades of important information while mastering new skills in data management and digital organization. It's an opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to streamlining our future!
Travel to and from assignments and jobsites may occasionally be required. Travel expenses are reimbursable according to NESL Policy.
