Groundskeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and garden upkeep, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and inviting.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
• Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various groundskeeping tasks, ensuring they are maintained in good working condition.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed to enhance the beauty of the grounds.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases and taking appropriate action.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris, litter, and other waste materials.
• Assist in the design and implementation of landscaping projects as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and plant care is advantageous.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• A strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
