Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Lawyer located in Arizona. The Immigration Lawyer will handle a variety of immigration cases, including T visas, U visas, VAWA, waivers, and family-based petitions. Responsibilities include providing legal consultations, preparing legal documents, representing clients during legal proceedings, and collaborating with other legal professionals. The lawyer will also engage with clients, community partners, and corporate HR departments to offer legal workshops and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in immigration law, particularly humanitarian cases such as T visas, U visas, VAWA, waivers, and family-based petitions
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience in representing clients during legal proceedings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to provide bilingual, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive legal services is beneficial
- Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Commitment to the mission and values of New Frontier Immigration Law
- Experience in collaborating with corporate HR departments, nonprofits, and community organizations is a plus
