What are the responsibilities and job description for the Craft Account Specialist position at New Hampshire Malt Beverage Acquisition?

This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday with some nights and weekends required for promotional events.
Position Information: Manage a core account base and identify key/major accounts and develop/implement sales strategies to establish business in those accounts - Develop, manage, and execute marketing and brand awareness programs to support placements, including promotions, tastings, merchandising, POS, Brew Fests, and special events. Assisting in managing craft inventory to ensure the company has enough stock to meet customer demand.
Primary Contribution to Amoskeag Beverages:
- Establish long-term relationships with customers
- Work in tangent with our Sales Reps in their accounts, professionally, securing distribution, display and visibility
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all suppliers Quality Assurance guidelines and procedures, without exception
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Call on all Core customers in your territory once per month to drive Craft Brand sales
- ID and seek out new Craft Brand opportunities
- Support and help organize Brew Fests, Special Events and Promotions in your Core Account universe
- Be knowledgeable of our products and be persuasive in selling them
- ID and execute training opportunities for your accounts and relevant sales people on Craft Brands
- Leverage support from our supplier partners for in market activity
- Communicate daily with Sales Reps and Area Supervisors on any successes and follow up needed
- Manage allocations and limited releases.
- Attend all sales meetings to stay current on all company promotions
- Responsible for general market intelligence and competitors activity
- Understand and comply with all local, State and Federal regulations as they apply to the beer industry
- Perform all duties safely and responsibly
- Undertake special assignments at request of Manager
Qualifications:
- Must have Sales or relevant Craft beer experience
- Must have a clean driving record, drive in a safe manner, obeying all traffic laws
- Must be flexible and able to work nights and weekends as special events require
- Must be personable, pleasant, knowledgeable, persuasive, organized, and computer literate
- Must be a TEAM player, self-starter, with little supervision necessary, flexible and responsible
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. continually and 160 lbs. occasionally
Working Conditions:
- Most of time will be spent on the road visiting customers at their locations; whether it is a bar, restaurant, convenience store, or retail store.
- Business casual attire
