Pay Scale : $40 - $55 per hour
Overview : We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Technologist (U / S Tech) to join our Radiology team. This position will involve performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in areas such as Abdomen, OB / GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be ARDMS certified or registry eligible in Abdomen, OB / GYN, or Vascular. The role will require independent work, as there may be times when the traveler is the only tech scheduled on certain shifts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB / GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging.
- Independently complete studies with proficiency in common imaging procedures such as appendix and hernia scans.
- Handle a typical workload of 8 studies per day.
- Work with ER, OB / GYN, and small parts imaging cases, including paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures.
- Utilize Epic EMR and McKesson PACS for documentation and image storage.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a hospital environment.
