What are the responsibilities and job description for the Riding Instructor position at New Hope Community, Inc.?
Essential functions:
- Schedule and provide therapeutic riding lessons and related activities and monitor attendance to maintain program
- Provide full attention to safety of riders and condition of tack
- Provide routine ongoing instruction to supporting staff
- Plan and design goal oriented lesson program and plans for individuals and group
- Conduct regular Horse Barn Trainings for New Hope Staff
- Ongoing regular observation of behavior and training for New Hope therapy horses
- Confer with program manager on individual progress of riding program participants
- Occasional meetings with THRIP Team & other departments when necessary to address program needs
- Maintain required trainings and documentation as required on the various systems and logs provided
The hourly rate for this position is $17.80.
Education
Required- Associates or better
Licenses & Certifications
