Full Job Description
New Hope Fertility is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Wanted bookkeeper with hardcore QuickBooks online skills and experience to assist in the reconstruction of books and records on a full-time, contract or temporary assignment basis.
Qualifications:
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a full grasp of the skills necessary to reconcile and reconstruct incorrectly posted accounting records.
* Have sufficient accounting knowledge and skills to recognize and understand how to reconcile and correction of accounting entries.
* Must be able to reconcile and correct intercompany activities.
* This assignment requires the skills to reconstruct the activity instead of adjusting to an estimated balance or plugging to an amount.
* Among the tasks will be converting cash basis activity to accrual basis.
* Use of QuickBooks bank feeds and reconciliation of cash accounts and credit card activity.
* Ability to seek out vendors and persuade them to provide past invoice copies and application of previously cashed checks.
* Must have the ability to analyze invoices to determine period incurred and general ledger account to post activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable
