What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/ Store & Cafe Sales Associate position at New Hope Mills Manufacturing, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities:
-Provide excellent customers service by providing friendly and professional answers, info & advice.
-Perform basic Point-of-Sale (POS) activities. ï‚· Assist in the presentation of Store & Cafe signage and pricing, and ensure their accuracy.
-Rotate and restock store items and ensure availability of fresh products.
-Fulfil mail orders & follow major carrier shipping/receiving procedures (UPS, DHL, and Fed-EX)
-Record customer feedback digitally: praise, suggestions and complaints.
-Operate various electronic devices such as computers, tablets and scanners.
-Will be required to go off site for shopping at local stores on an organized and routine basis.
-Repack & label bulk foods for retail sale.
-Perform cleaning per checklists and maintain good housekeeping at all times.
-Warmly greet all customers when they enter and actively upsell.
-Responsible for abiding by all Store & Café policies and procedures.
-Perform basic phone operations and Café operations such as waiting tables, preparing food/drink etc.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
-Ability to work in a retail environment and have proficiency is basic cash handling procedures.
-Ability to perform problem solving and use deductive reasoning.
-Work well in a team or individually.
-Perform tasks that will result in contact with some food allergens. (Company will advise)
-Possible need to travel to and work from off-site locations.
-High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
-Must be cheerful, self-motivated, responsible and detail oriented.
-Demonstrate commitment to company values, policies and procedures.
-Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift objects of up to 60 lbs.
-Ability to work well with colleagues & customers in a professional & organized manner.
Desired skills:
-2 years of similar position experience.
-Proficiency in basic use of computers and Microsoft Office Applications.
-Database management experience / ability to learn company software and database quickly.
-Organization and follow-up skills.
-Barista or Café Experience
