The New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking an experienced and visionary Elementary Principal to lead our Elementary school community. Key Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership & Curriculum Development
- Ensure the effective teaching and implementation of the district’s elementary curriculum.
- Lead curriculum development initiatives aligned with school and district goals.
- Utilize student assessment data to inform instructional strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee and support K-2 assessment programs to track student progress
- Partner with pupil services staff to identify and support at-risk students.
- Communicate assessment results and progress to parents and stakeholders effectively.
- Implement and enforce a positive and equitable code of conduct that fosters student learning.
- Provide a safe and orderly learning environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and student engagement.
- Supervise student behavior at school events and ensure a welcoming school atmosphere.
- Plan and implement professional development programs tailored to staff needs.
- Support teachers in developing innovative instructional strategies and improvement plans.
- Conduct staff evaluations and provide coaching to promote growth and excellence.
- Oversee building operations, safety procedures, and facility management.
- Manage school budgets effectively and ensure responsible use of district resources.
- Maintain accurate personnel, student, and financial records in compliance with district policies.
- Collaborate with staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders to create a shared vision of success.
- Serve as a role model and foster a positive work climate for faculty and staff.
- Attend school board and committee meetings, contributing to district-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Education or related field required
- Valid Pennsylvania Principal Certification (K-12) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience required
- Prior experience in Administration or Educational Leadership preferred.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, student assessment, and instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with staff supervision, budget management, and school operations preferred.
